I had a very similar experience with Armin's show at the Hollywood Palladium in August; a set much more on the house side of things with a ton of bass bleeding over the melodic elements. It wasn't bad by any means but I guess I was expecting something different. He definitely still knows how to put on a show though!

Lol I'm baffled that people actually enjoy this album. It's absolutely terrible. This whole genre is becoming unbelievably predictable and boring, and while Ferry Corsten used to be an innovator, his latest album deserves nothing more than a yawn.

I like your effort of putting out these short reviews for the American audience.

However, you mis-use quite some terms which makes you look like you have no clue what you are talking about. Of course the definitions of some subgenres are opinionated, but your errors are very clear and even disqualify the actual article, which is a shame..

I suggest you to learn more about the terms you use (like: uplifting) to improve your articles.

I have been fortunate enough to attend Sensation in Amsterdam in 2010. It was unbelieveable! I love trance very much but this event will blow you away....i promise! I will be there for sure.
